FAVORITE ANIMAL TO HUNT:
Turkey
WEAPON OF CHOICE:
I should say my St. Joe River Longbow but the truth is I love lots of toys and enjoy them all out in the field.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
I've been married to the love of my life for 29 years. We have a wonderful family together, our children Michael and Sierra, their spouses Sarah and Danny, and our newest member our grandson Liam Archer.
I've been on hunts for a wide variety of species including whitetail, black bear, elk, turkey, feral hog, and Spanish goat although I did not bring an elk home. I have also done a bunch of critter hunting everything from squirrel to bowfishing for carp. I enjoy it all hugely.
Becoming a bowyer and co-owner of St. Joe River Bows has been a dream come true for me. To be able to make longbows and recurves is fabulous. It's been wonderful working with people to create bows they love and take out in the field. Hearing their success stories and seeing their enjoyment makes me very happy.

GOALS: Stay healthy and hunt until I'm in my old, old, old age.

Having good times with my family and friends; Spending time in the great outdoors.
DISLIKES:  Whiners, people who try to make things seem different than what they really are. P.E.T.A., anti-hunters, anti-gun people and stupid drivers.
FAVORITE ANIMAL TO HUNT
:  If it is legal and in season, it could very well be in trouble.  I enjoy hunting all game and fish.
WEAPON OF CHOICE
:  If you have to pull the string or if it goes bang, I like it.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
:  I have been fortunate enough to hunt all over the United States and 4 provinces in Canada.  I took a chocolate Pope & Young black bear and a 150” 8 point white-tail deer from Alberta.  I took a 52 ½” caribou in Quebec.  I have taken several white-tails in Michigan and a mule deer in Montana.
GOALS
:  First and foremost, staying true to God, family and friends.  Doing whatever I do right, fair and honest.  Never leave any regrets in all aspects of my life.  I want to experience all I can, when I can and try not to forget how I got here and who helped me get here.  I want to share the outdoors with others.  Most of all I don’t want to forget where I came from and who I am.

Occupation:  Security Consultant

Likes:  Spending time in the outdoors with family, friends and new-comers to the sport.  Hunting, fishing, trapping and cooking.

Weapon of Choice:  I enjoy using all types, but if I had to choose, it would be a bow or a muzzleloader.

Accomplishments:  I have had the good fortune to hunt and harvest many animals, but I think that the biggest accomplishments are all related to introducing my family and friends to the outdoors.  There is nothing quite like seeing that look of excitement when someone hears their first turkey, sees their first buck or harvests their first animal.

Goals:  To be the best father, husband, friend and person that I can be and share my knowledge and beliefs with others, while not forgetting where I came from and how I got there.  At some time, I would like to have a full-time career in the outdoor industry and spend my time introducing others to the great outdoors.
