Plan to attend this full day "in the field" outdoor course hosted by your dean of students, 6X Michigan State Turkey Calling Champion and Professional Guide Greg Abbas.
The day starts with an indoor slide presentation covering turkey hunting and calling from beginning to advanced. Specifically covering scouting, using maps to locate good turkey areas, equipment, decoy use, hunting tactics, and safety. Then Greg will cover in detail calls and calling. You may bring your own calls or purchase them on location as Greg will hold a practice along session. This is a great opportunity to get personal instruction from Greg.


After the calling session we will take a break for lunch, then its time to put on the boots and "hit the woods" to do some serious scouting. Greg will show you what to look for, how to use turkey signs to find roosting and feeding areas, how to call and set up on turkeys in the woods, how to use the lay of the land to your advantage and more! This is a one of a kind course, and a great opportunity to learn from an expert in his field.

From I-75:
Exit US 10 West and go about 30 miles to M-18 Beaverton/Gladwin Exit. Go North for 10 miles until you enter town of Beaverton. Proceed through town until you see Bowling Alley on your right. Turn at Bowling Alley (Burgess Road) and take 1 mile until road comes to T (Stop Sign). You will see A-Way Hunting Products from the Stop Sign.
 

From US 27: 

Exit onto US 10 East (In Clare).  Go for about 20-25 miles until you come to  M-18 Beaverton/Gladwin Exit. Go North for 10 miles until you enter town of Beaverton.
